2K to 10K Betting Challenge (Bet No 50 ) Sun 19th May

2K to 10K Betting Challenge continues on Sunday in Ireland from Naas

The betting bankroll stands at £2761 (+£761) after Yafta finished third in the Duke Of York stakes at York on Wednesday.Ran fair enough race in third, though never threatened impressive winner Invincible Army .

No damage done with money back .The stakes remain the same at £110.00

Moving on to Sunday we have decent looking card in Ireland at Naas .Going concentrate on one the feature races the G3 Lacken Stakes at 4.25 .10 runners declared for decent looking 6f sprint for three-year-olds at Naas on ground described as good/firm.The three main contenders are Inverleigh , The Irish Rover & So Perfect .

INVERLEIGH :  3-Y-0 Black/Bay Colt ,winning 2 out 3 on turf .Lightly raced sort ,didn't make debut till last August ,though showed progressive form on turf ,including winning maiden and finishing creditable second in listed race at Fairyhouse.Made impressive reapperance at Navan in April winning 5.5f listed race in good style.Looks open to plenty improvement this season .Interesting contender

IRISH ROVER :  3-Y-0 Bay Colt ,winning 1 out 9 on turf .Only victory came in conditions race at Newbury in May last season .Had bits of decent form last season ,including finishing 1L third in G1 Phoenix Stakes at Curragh in August , though didn't really progress .Made fair reapperance in April ,finishing second in listed company at Navan .Possible place claims, though looks held by Inverleigh .

SO PERFECT : 3-Y-0 Bay Filly , winning 2 out 8 .Very Consistent filly last season ,including winning G3 Grangecon filly stakes at Curragh in July .Also finished placed in both the G1 Phoenix Stakes & Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket .Made creditable reapperance last month ,finishing close third in Fred Darling at Newbury. Will be suited returning to 6 furlongs ,solid claims .

VERDICT : So Perfect looks the one to beat on official ratings (110) being 6lb clear  ,though was beaten in listed race over C&D on this card last year, when odds on favourite.Has to be respected on her G1 placed form ,though odds around 5-4 looks too short for me.

The lightly raced INVERLEIGH should go well ,after winning in good style at Navan last month in listed company, that looked fair performance winning decisively from off the pace .Takes step up in class ,though there looks plenty more improvement in sprints, after just four career starts .Odds around 4-1 look solid value.
