3.00 Lingfield 1 mile handicap (Wednesday 25th March )

On Wednesday we go to Surrey for 1 mile 0-55 handicap on poly track at Lingfield .

3.00 LINGFIELD 1 MILE (0-55) HANDICAP CLASS 6:
8 runners go to post for low grade class 6 handicap on poly track at Lingfield .The three main contenders look to be HENRY GRACE , SKIDBY MILL & WELSH INLET .

HENRY GRACE :Been in good form recently ,winning 1 mile class 7 handicap at Kempton in January off mark 47 .Just touched last time in 1 mile handicap at Kempton off mark 52,Looks closely matched with Skidby Mill at the weights .

SKIDBY MILL :Consistent type and Dual course & distance winner at Lingfield.Won 1 mile handicap at Kempton in February beating Henry Grace by nose .Finished placed on last two starts, both at Lingfield .Should go well with George Baker back in the plate .

WELSH INLET :Won twice on turf last season at Salisbury and Brighton ,though not as good on the All Weather 2 wins from 51 .Will be suited returning to this longer trip ,though has bit to find with Skidby Mill on earlier form .Each-way claims.

VERDICT : SKIDBY MILL goes well here at Lingfield and looks fairly handicapped off mark 55.George Baker is reunited with horse and looks significant jockey booking having won on the horse at Kempton back in February .Odds around 3-1 look fair value in weak looking handicap.

Henry Grace looks the main danger ,though is creeping up the weights, racing off 8LB higher mark since his last win, and all his form has been at Kempton .
