JBB RATINGS :
1) ANCHORAGE (102)
1) NAHANNI (102)
3) HAFIT (101)
12 Runners declared for G2 Queens Vase over 1M 6F.The unbeaten Roger Varian trained Eldar Eldarov has been put in favourite ,after winning 10f Novice Stakes on All Weather at Newcastle last time in good style ,looks open to plenty improvement after two starts, though odds around 11-4 look short enough for horse that still has plenty to prove over this longer trip and fast ground.
The Aidan O'Brien trained ANCHORAGE looks interesting ,had some fair form last season ,including finishing creditable third in 9F (G3) Eyre Field stakes at Leopardstown at end last season, though only fifth of 7 in 1M 2F (G3) Gallinule stakes on his reappearance at Curragh ,was staying on really nicely at the finish .The step up in trip looks sure to suit the Galileo colt . The stable has excellent record in the race winning it seven times .Odds around 15-2 look very fair each-way value ,especially with bookmakers paying 4 places in this 12 runner race .
Of the others Nahanni looks possibly the main danger, after finishing fair saying on seventh in the Derby after being slowly away ,had previously won three times, including winning listed Derby trial at Epsom in April .Looks open to further improvement over this longer trip.
