The Jim Bolger trained Poetic Flare heads the top the market ,after winning 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in May and finishing close 2nd in Irish Guineas last time.Looks the one to beat strictly on form , though this will be his fifth race in last two months.Has had some hard races in recent weeks ,this could be one race too many .

BATTLEGROUND had some useful form last season for Aidan O'Brien ,including winning Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot & group two Vintage Stakes at Goodwood ,also finished creditable second in Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf at Keenland in November, will need to bounce back after very disappointing run in 2000 Guineas at Newmarket last time, though Aidan O 'Brien reported the colt lost his action and was unsuited by undulations at Newmarket. Will be suited returning to Ascot having won Chesham  Stakes in good stlye last season.Odds around 6-1 or above is fair value .

Lucky Vega looks best of the others ,after finishing just behind Poetic Flare in 2000 Guineas at Newmarket ,looked unsuited by soft ground in Irish Guineas last time ,though can't be ruled out with ground conditions back in his favour .

The Marco Botti trained FELIX looks interesing ,having finished excellent third in group one Dubai Turf at Meydan behind Lord North in March ,lightly raced on turf in recent times ,though had some useful form on All Weather over winter including finishing second in Winter Derby, goes well fresh and will be suited returning to Listed company, with champion jockey Oisin Murphy taking the ride .Odds around 5-1 look decent e-w value .

Of the others Solid Stone looks one main dangers ,after landing 8f listed race at Windsor last time in good style ,that form has been boosted with second Stormy Antarctic winning easily at Goodwood next time in listed Festival Stakes .Open to improvement returning to 10f  .
