The betting bankroll stands at £3792 (+£1792) after Servalan won the Yeomanstown Listed stakes at Naas on Wednesday at 8-1 for tidy £614.00 profit .

Stakes now increase : Betting bank £3792 divided by 25 = £152.00 stake on next bet .

In close race Servalan got up near finish ,after finding gap just in time inside final furlong, winning by short head.Landing a nice gamble 8-1 into 11-2 .

Moving on to Tuesday. Day one of Glorious Goodwood .We have high quality 7f group two contest at 3.00 .10 runners declared for Lennox stakes on ground described as good .The three main contenders look to be Hey Gaman , Suedois & Zaaki .

HEY GAMAN : 4-Y-0 Bay Colt ,winning 5 out 16.Had some useful form last season without winning ,including finishing neck second in French 2000 Guineas .Been in great form this season winning in listed & group three company .Also finished creditable second in G2 Minstrel Stakes at Curragh last time .Solid claims with conditions to suit .

SUEDOIS : 8-Y-0 Bay Gelding ,winning 4 out 34 on turf .Consistent sort ,including finishing nose second in this race last year .Been in good form this season without winning.Ran as well as ever last time wnen finishing 1.5L third in Summer Mile at Ascot.Will be suited returning to 7f .Should be thereabouts , place claims .

ZAAKI : 4-Y-0 Bay Gelding ,winning 3 out 13 .Shown progressive form this season ,winning twice  at Ascot & Epsom in listed and G3 company .Produced career best effort in G2 Summer Mile at Ascot last time ,finishing close second to Beat The Bank .Strong claims on that form ,though drop in trip not may not be ideal .

VERDICT : The progressive Zaaki will be popular after finishing excellent second in Summer mile at Ascot  last time ,though all his best form has been over mile .The drop back to this sharp 7 furlongs is not sure to suit .Having never been placed over the trip (0 out 3) as two year old .Has to be passed over with doubts about the trip .

HEY GAMAN  has decent record over 7 furlongs (3 out 7) (2113219) including winning twice this season over the trip .Lost nothing in defeat when finishing 1L second to Irish 2000 Guineas winner Romanised at Curragh last time,in very quick time (1.43 fast ) .Should be suited by the  track .Odds around 7-2  look fair each-way value .
