MERHOOB : 7-Y-0 Bay gelding ,winning 5 out 19 on All Weather .Goes particarly well here on poly track at Lingfield winning 3 out 5 .Returned to winning form in December ,landing class three handicap over C&D at Lingfield.No show in 5f class two conditions race at Newcastle last time ,though faced difficult task at the weights.Will be suited reurning to Lingfield over 6f trip .Solid claims

DESERT DOCTOR : 4-Y-0 Chestnut Gelding .Decent strike rate on All Weather winning 5 out 10 ,including winning over C&D at Lingfield in March off todays mark 92.Returned to winning form in January,beating Human Nature by head in class 3 handicap at Chelmsford .Up 3lb in the weights ,though still fairly treated off mark 92 .Interesting contender 

ALSVINDER :  6-Y-0 Bay Horse ,winning 5 out 15 on All Weather ,including winning class 3 handicap over C&D at Lingfield last month off 2lb lower mark .No show at Chelmsford last time ,when finishing last of 9 behind Desert Doctor ,never threatning after slow start .Should be suited returning to Lingfield ,though will need bounce back off career high mark 96 .

VERDICT : Course Specialist MERHOOB looks the pick of the weights,with claimer Darrah Keenan taking off handy 5lb.Has excellent record on poly track here at Lingfield,winning three times and finishing second twice from five starts (21112 ).Can reverse last month's C&D form with Alsvinder on 6lb better terms.Odds around 5-1 look decent each-way value.

Desert Doctor looks the main danger ,after winning class three handicap at Chelmsford last time,still looks fairly handicapped ,having won off this mark (92) last season over C&D at Lingfield .
