2K to 10K Betting Challenge (Bet No 34 ) Sat 20th Oct

The 2K to 10k Betting Challenge continues on Saturday at Ascot .

The Betting Bankroll stands at £2242 (+£242) ,after Different League finished disappointing 6th in the Bodicea Listed stakes at Newmarket on Saturday ,having been slowly away never getting into the contest .Looks horse to avoid in the future.

Moving on to Saturday ,we have excellent card on British Champions day at Ascot, with five championship races .

Going concentrate on the G1 Championship Sprint over six furlongs .

14 Runners declared for Championship Sprint at 2.00.Ground conditions are going to be  testing, though this still looks cracking sprint. The three main contenders are Brando,Librisa Breeze & The Tin Man .

BRANDO : 6-Y-0 Chestnut Gelding , winning 8 out 29 .Been in decent form this season ,including finishing second in both the G1 July Cup & G1 Sprint Cup at Haydock ,though only victory came in G3 Abernant Stakes at Newmarket in April .Each-way claims, though was only 6th in this race last year on simular ground .

LIBRISA BREEZE : 5-Y-0 Grey Gelding, winning 6 out 20.Goes well here at Ascot ,winning three times at the track ,including winning this race last year .Not shown much this season in four starts ,though has been unsuited by fast ground .Will be suited returning to Ascot on this testing ground .

THE TIN MAN : 6-Y-0 Bay Gelding ,winning 9 out 20 .Useful sort winning three G1 races ,including winning this race in 2016 .Also been in decent form this season winning the Sprint Cup at Haydock last time on Heavy ground .Decent record here at Ascot .Seems to handle any ground .Solid claims .

VERDICT : Last years winner LIBRISA BREEZE will need to bounce back to form ,though looks to have his ideal ground conditions for first time this season. All his best form has been   on soft ground at Ascot (112).Should also get the race run suit with plenty pace in the race.Odds around 6-1 look solid each-way value .

The Tin Man looks big danger having won three G1 races, including winning this race two years ago .Looked as good as ever when winning Sprint Cup at Haydock last month, though was only fifth in this race last year.
£45.00 EACH-WAY @ 6-1 PADDY POWER
