4.20 CURRAGH 9F DANCE DESIGN FILLIES STAKES G3 :
9 runners declared for decent looking fillies group three contest over 9 furlongs on ground described as yielding .The three main contenders are Brooch , Bocca Baciata & Devonshire .
BROOCH : Decent filly winning 4 out 6 , including group two contest over mile at Curragh in May .Finished good second over C&D in group two contest at Curragh last time . Has 5LB group two penalty ,though should go well in first time blinkers .
BOCCA BACIATA : Won two from 7 starts ,including winning listed race over 10 furlongs at Navan in April .Finished good third over C&D at Curragh last time in G2 company .Finishing strongly in the closing stages .Ground conditions will suit and looks open to improvement .
DEVONSHIRE : Consistent filly, though only one win from 10 starts , has shown some useful place form ,including finishing third in Irish 1000 guineas in May.Finished decent second at Killarney last time in listed company .Each-way claims ,though poor win strike rate .
VERDICT : BOCCA BACIATA ran eyecatching third over C&D in group two company last time ,finishing never nearer third .Can reverse form with Brooch, with softer ground conditions more in her favour . Odds around 7-2 look good value .
