4.45 Lingfield All Weather Marathon Condition Stakes 1 mile 7F 169yds

On Good Friday we have the All Weather finals day at Lingfield . I will be travelling down early Friday morning for great days racing at Lingfield .Hopefully the rain will clear away before the racing gets under way at 1.40 PM.

For the blogs main bet on the card, we have to wait for last race the 1 mile 7 furlong 32 Red All Weather Marathon at 4.45 .

4.45 LINGFIELD 1MILE 7F 169 YDS ALL WEATHER MARATHON:
11 runners declared for the All Weather Marathon on poly track at 4.45 .The three main contenders look to be Hurricane Higgins ,Anglophile & Hidden Gold .

HURRICANE HIGGINS : Useful stayer for Mark Johnston back in 2012 ,including finishing third in G2 Doncaster Cup behind Times Up .Bounced back to form on first start for Nicky Henderson, after over two year absence, when winning fast track qualifier over C&D at Lingfield at the end February. Fair record on poly track 1231 ,each-way claims .

ANGLOPHILE :Progressive 4 year old gelding ,winning three of last four ,including bolting up in fast track qualifier over C&D in January .Good record at Lingfield (121) and looks open to plenty improvement over staying trips .

HIDDEN GOLD : Fast improving filly ,winning last four starts ,including winning listed race over 13 furlongs at Lingfield in October .Won in good style at Wolverhampton last time when stepped up to 2 miles .Should go well receiving weight all round .

VERDICT: HIDDEN GOLD looks very progressive filly, winning her last four starts .Looked well suited to this longer trip when winning fast track qualifier at Wolverhampton last time .Looks sure go well receiving plenty weight off her main rivals .Odds around 10-3 look good value .

Anglophile looks the obvious danger after bolting up last time over C&D at Lingfield ,though will still need show more improvement to beat Hidden Gold on these terms .

HIDDEN GOLD 4.45 LINGFIELD
0.50 PTS EACH-WAY @ 10-3 STAN JAMES
(THIRD SP 5-2 LOSS £17.00/0.17 )
