7.30 NAAS 10 FURLONG NAAS OAKS TRIAL (LISTED STAKES)
AVENUE GABRIAL :Won twice last season, including 1 mile listed race at Curragh last September.Shown fair form this season ,finishing 1.5 lengh third behind Bracelet in G3 1000,Irish guineas trial at Leopardstown in March .Ran creditable fourth in Irish guineas last time behind Marvelous. Has 3lb penalty, though should be suited by this drop in class .
CARLA BIANCA :Had some useful form as two year old ,finishing second behind Australia in 7 furlong maiden at Curragh and good fourth in G1 Moyglare Stud stakes at Curragh behind Rizeena .Bolted up in 10 furlong maiden last time at Navan beating Starlet by five lenghs .Looked well suited by longer trip on fast ground .Obvious claims with conditions to suit .
PALACE :Improving sort ,won 1 mile maiden at Navan in April and finished close second in G3 at Leopardstown in May,though probably ran her best race when finishing staying on 7th of 17 in Epsom Oaks .Drop back in trip shouldn't be problem, though has yet to race on ground this fast .
VERDICT :CARLA BIANCA looks to have ideal conditions here 10 furlongs on fast ground and looks more than capable landing this listed Oaks trial .Had some useful form as two year old finishing behind the likes of Australia & Rizeena . Odds around 11-4 look decent value .
Palace looks obvious danger ,dropping into listed company after contesting two classics ,though has to prove she can handle this very fast ground .
