St Leger day

Another decent day on Friday with BILKO PAK winning nicely at 7-2 for £210 / 2.10 pts profit ,given an excellent ride by Richard Hughes coming from well of the pace to win comfortably.

We have two St Legers on Saturday at Doncaster and the Curragh. At Doncaster REWILDING will take plenty of beating after finishing third in Epsom  Derby in June ,then went on to win Great Voltiguer at York by very easy 4 Lenghs , though looks very short price now at around 5-4 and does still have to prove he will stay 1 Mile 6 furlongs.

At Curragh we have the Irish St Leger this race is open to older horses and 4-Y-0 SANS FRONTIERES looks quite interesting runner after winning the Geoffrey Freer stakes at Newbury last time.

Plenty top quality racing on Saturday ,though after going through all six cards on Friday night , I just couldn't come up with any decent value bet .and with the uncertainty with the weather , plenty rain forecast overnight ,I have decided not to get involved in any bets on Saturday.

  1. Probably a good decision you didnt get involved with your selections mentioned today Jerry. Although correct with the doubts on Rewilding, I thought Olivier Peslier gave Sans Frontieres one of the coolest rides seen today. Not a great price but at least your choices made a profit with a winner ;)

Rewilding went of incredibly short price for horse unproven over 1mile 6F,though bit surprised he ran that poorly.

I agree Peslier gave Sans Frontiers a great ride, this horse is improving with every race.
