6.45 Wolverhampton 32Red 7F Fillies Conditions Stakes

On Friday evening we are back at Wolverhampton, for decent looking 7F fillies (Fast Track Qualifier  conditions race )

6.45 WOLVERHAMPTON 32RED 7F FILLIES CONDITIONS STAKES :
9 runners declared for  7F Fillies & Mares conditions race on the tapeta at Wolverhampton .Not the most competitive Fast track Qualifier, with the three standout contenders . Lamar , Cold As Ice & Alfajer .

LAMAR : Excellent record on the All Weather .Winning three & finishing second times from seven starts .Including winning on tapeta at Wolverhampton .Won 1 mile fillies listed race at Lingfield last time .Drop back to 7F shouldn't be problem ,having finished close 2nd in All Weather finals over the distance .

COLD AS ICE : Useful sort in South Africa .Winning 5 out 7 for Joey Ramsdan .Including winning two grade 2 races ,though has Only raced on the turf at Kenilworth .Interesting runner on first start for William Haggas .

ALFAJER : Consistent filly, though only 1 win from 10 starts .Finished creditable third in Listed company at Ascot in October .Also ran eyecatching 6TH last time only beaten 2 lenghs in 1 mile listed race ,finishing strongly in slowly run race behind Lamar . Each-way claims .

VERDICT : Cold As Ice could easily outclass this field, on pick her South African form ,though has question marks having not ran for 300 days, on her first start on All Weather .Looks interesting runner ,though odds around 7-4 look short enough .

At the prices LAMAR looks solid each-way bet.Has shown plenty useful form on All Weather ,including winning listed race at Lingfield last time ,that looks solid form beating useful sort Very Special .The drop in class will also suit ,odds around 4-1 look good value .
