Fridays best bets

Excellent day on Thursday with the only bet DAAS RITE winning nicely by 1.25 lenghs, returning very generous price of 6-1 for £ 720 profit / 7.20 pts on the day

Very surprised DAAS RITE drifted so much in market, BET365 were best price 7-2 in morning, strangely the price drifted to 6-1 just before the off ,jockey Neil Callan always had the horse in good position and came through to win quite comfortably.

Most UK online bookmakers now offer BEST PRICE GUARANTEE ,which is fantastic offer for punters.Today instead of winning £420 profit ,it ended up £720 profit.

On to Friday's racing we have four cards and see the third day of the Doncaster St Leger meeting with some top quality races including Doncaster cup run over 2 MILES 2 FURLONGS the oldest horse race in world first run in 1766. Nothing really stands out for me at Doncaster, so will give that meeting a miss, just going concentrate on the one race at Wolverhampton the 6 furlong claiming race run at 6.00.

6F 2-Y-0 CLAIMER CLASS 5 WOLVERHAMPTON 6.00

BILKO PAK ;Below form on his last two starts, though has faced difficult tasks  in class 2 handicaps and not surprising was well beaten on both starts.Has won twice this season including on polytrack at Kempton in June winning class 4 novice event beating Fifth Ave (winner since) by 1.25 lenghs, also won maiden at Windsor back in April, takes big drop in class here into class 5 claimer.Trainer Richard Hannon has an excellent record with his runners this season at Wolverhampton 4 wins from 8 starts .

DANGER- HORTENSIA looks the danger ,getting 6LB from BILKO PAK,been very consistent this season winning twice and finishing second three times and won in claiming company two starts ago.

VERDICT;BILKO PAK looks the one to beat, takes big drop in class here ,has won in better company  proven over 6F on polytrack and Richard Hughes travels from Doncaster to take the ride.Looking for 3-1 or bigger.

BILKO PAK 6.00 WOLVERHAMPTON

  1. Nice hit and run one wager day Jerry. That's the way to hit 'em. I admire your discipline and patience in assessing the days activity. That's the sign of a true professional. I still have a lot to learn...day by day.

  2. Thanks JM

It just comes with experience,iv'e been full time gambler now for nearly 10 years.

Backing 4 to 6 horses per week seems to suit my style far better, though I know gamblers who make good money having 40+ bets per week.

I did try to change few things earlier this year, thinking by having more bets, it would equal bigger profits this never worked for me.I was making silly mistakes.

Since September I have gone back to my old style more patient and disciplined approach, and it seems to be working lot better.
