Very Small profit on day one of Glorious Goodwood with Arctic Cosmos getting placed at 11-2,though not given the greatest of rides by W.Buick seemed to given an impossible task 20 lenghs of the pace and did well to finish third.

On to day two at GLORIOUS GOODWOOD we have the feature race of the week the G1 Sussex stakes and good 2-Y-O race the G2 Vintage stakes.

CROWN PROSECUTOR:Unbeaten in two starts won maiden over 6F here at Goodwood at the end of May beating Sonning Rose by neck ,that maiden couldn't have worked out better with 6 winners coming out that race.won conditions race last time at Salisbury beating Avon Rose by 1 lengh,should be suited by step up to 7F.

RIP VAN WINKLE:Impressive winner of this race last year beating the very useful Paco Boy by 2.5 Lenghs ,also ran excellent second behind Sea the Stars at Sandown in the Eclipse ,needs to bounce back after very poor run in Queen Anne stakes at Royal Ascot.Should improve a lot for that first run and what looks two horse race looks value at around 5-2.

THEBES:Good third over C/D back in May only beaten 1/2 lengh behind Tropical Paradise in decent class 2 handicap ,won twice on AW this year in class 2 handicaps ,been bit disappointing on his last two starts over 6F though the return to 7F will suit, should go well at decent odds.
