ASIDIOUS ALEXANDER : Won 2 out 7 for trainer Simon Crisford ,including winning 7F Listed race at Deauville last season , no show in French 1000 guineas at Deauville in May ,though will be suited by this drop in class .

BLETCHLEY : Won 2 out 5 for trainer Ralph Beckett .Had some useful form last season ,including finishing short head 2ND in G3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot .Returned to form last time winning 7F Conditions stakes at Leicester in first time hood .Obvious claims in this listed contest ,best form on good/soft .

ELUSIVE BEAUTY : Irish Filly ,winning 2 out 17 for trainer K.J Condon ,including winning 7F Fillies Handicap at Gowran Park on soft ground in April off mark 86 .Also finished creditable 1.75 lengh fifth of 12 in G3 6F Ballyogan Stakes .Will be suited returning to this 7F trip ,wont mind any rain .Solid each-way claims .

VERDICT :  Bletchley looks the one to beat, on the pick last season form ,including finishing close 2ND at Royal Ascot .Looked on her way back after winning conditions race at Leicester last time, though odds around 2-1 don't look great value in open looking race .

At the prices consistent Irish filly ELUSIVE BEAUTY looks the each-way value.Finished close fifth in fair looking 6F (G3) contest at Curragh last time (Staying on strongly at finish ) The return to this longer trip, on this stiff track is sure to suit .The more rain the better for this soft ground specialist.Odds around 8-1 look good value .

Royal Ascot Day Four Preview (Fri 23rd June )

Not much luck so far at Royal Ascot ,with Mori getting chinned near the finish in the Ribblesdale stakes ,after being heavily supported in the market .Hopefully we can get on the scoreboard on final two days .

BEST SOLUTION : Won 3 out 8 on turf for Saeed Bin Suroor ,including winning the G3 Lingfield Derby trial in May.Slightly disappointing in the Derby, finishing 6.5L eighth of 18 behind Wings Of Eagles ,fading in closing stages .This race looks easier ,though not certain to stay on this stiffer track .

CRYSTAL OCEAN : Lightly raced sort for Sir Michael Stoute ,winning 1 out 3 ,though finished eyecatching third in G2 Dante Stakes at York last time (staying on strongly at the finish) Skipped the Derby, and looks to been trained for this race .Obvious claims with fast ground in his favour .

PERMIAN : Tough sort ,winning 5 out 11 for Mark Johnston ,including winning G2 Dante Stakes at York  ,though no show in Derby finishing disappointing tenth of 18 .Obvious claims on the Dante form ,though there has to be question mark over this 1M 4F trip .

VERDICT : CRYSTAL OCEAN looks open to plenty improvement over this longer trip ,was putting in all his best work in closing stages of 10F Dante Stakes at York ,that form looks all the better with the Dante second Benbati ,winning G3 Hampton Court Stakes yesterday .Should be difficult to beat .Odds around 3-1 look fair value .

DABAN : Three-year-old Filly, winning 2 out 3 ,including winning the G3 Nell Gwyn at Newmarket in April ,though produced career best effort last time when finishing an excellent 2 lengh third behind Winter in 1000 guineas.Should go well returning to this shorter trip.

DREAM CASTLE :Three-year-old colt, winning 1 out 3 ,also finished good second in G3 Greenham Stakes behind Barney Roy and finished fair fifth of 10 in 2000 guineas. That form has taken timely boost ,with Barney Roy and Lancaster Bomber finishing first & second in Tuesday's St James Palace Stakes. The return to 7 furlongs will also suit .

LE BRIVIDO : Three-year-old French colt , winning 2 out 3 ,including winning twice at Chantilly ,though ran his best race ,when finishing short head second in French 2000 Guineas at Deauville on soft ground .Looks interesting contender, though unproven on fast ground .

VERDICT : Le Brivido will be popular after finishing close second in French 2000 guineas  ,though that was on soft ground, there has to be big question mark repeating that form on this  lightning quick ground .

DREAM CASTLE looks the one to beat returning to group three company, over this 7 furlong trip. The form of his 2L second to Barney Roy in Greenham stakes, and 3L fifth of 10 in 2000 Guineas looks very decent form at this level .Odds around 4-1 look solid value .

2.55 York 1M Ganton Listed Stakes (Sat 18th June )

GABRIAL : Eight-year-old gelding ,winning 8 out 62 .Been in decent form this season ,finishing excellent second in both the G2 Bet365 Mile at Sandown & G3 Diomed Stakes at Epsom .Will be suited dropping into listed company ,though his best form has been on easier ground .

SPARK PLUG : Six-year-old gelding, winning 4 out 21 .Had some decent form last season ,including winning the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket in September .Also finished close second in 10F Listed Festival Stakes at Goodwood last time .Should be thereabouts , though the drop back to mile may not be ideal .

MONDIALISTE : Seven-year-old entire, winning 5 out 24 .Had some useful form last summer ,finishing second in 10F G2 Sky Bet Stakes at York in July & winning the 10F G1 Arlington Million in America in August .Not shown much on both starts this season ,though seems much better horse in summer months .Can't be ruled out returning to listed company .

VERDICT : THIKRIYAAT will need to bounce back to form, after two below par efforts ,though would take plenty of beating if reproducing the pick last seasons group and listed winning form.Had looked top class performer when landing the group three Thoroughbred Stakes at Glorious Goodwood .Looks worth small each-way bet at around 5-1 .
