Monthly Results Round Up

Slightly disappointing end to the month with two losing bets.In particular Adaay running poor race in Timeform Jury stakes at Haydock on Saturday, behind the gambled on winner Home Of The Brave.

Very disappointing effort from Adaay, finishing well beaten eighth.Hasn't looked the same horse this season, having looked very progressive horse last season, when winning the group two Sandy Lane Stakes & Hungerford Stakes.

Hopefully we can get back to winning ways in June. With the Epsom Derby meeting starting on Friday and Royal Ascot only two weeks away .

On positive note,May still finished up profitable month with £281.00 profit to recommended stakes.Making that 4 winning months out five this year, with the May results below. All bets are posted on OLBG.COM under jerryb1967 and twitter @jerryb123456

3.10 Haydock 7F Timeform Jury Stakes Group 3 (Sat 28th May )

On Saturday we have decent looking card from Haydock Park ,featuring three quality group races .Going concentrate on the seven furlong Timeform Jury Stakes at 3.10 .

11 runners declared for high quality looking 7 furlong group three contest at Haydock on ground described as good/soft .This looks competitive race on official BHA figures ,with only 2LB between the four main contenders .Adaay , Breton Rock , Home Of The Brave & So Beloved .

ADAAY : High quality 4-Y-0 colt ,winning 5 out 12.Showed some useful form last season ,including winning the 6F (G2) Sandy Lane stakes here at Haydock & 7F Hungerford Stakes at Newbury in August .No show on seasonal reappearance in Bet365 Mile at Sandown ,though should come on for that run, and will be suited with this drop in class ,over this 7F trip.

BRETON ROCK :Consistent sort , winning 7 out 21 (All wins coming on G/S or Soft) ,though hasn't won since August 2014 .Showed some decent placed form last season ,including finishing excellent 2ND in G2 Dubai Challenge Stakes at Newmarket in October .Will be suited by any. rain.Each-way claims .

HOME OF THE BRAVE :Useful front runner , Won 3 out 9 ,including bolting up in the 7F Richard 111 Listed stakes at Leicester last month .Also an impressive winner of  (G3) Minstrel Stakes at Curragh last season.Subsequently disqualified for banned substance .Should go well from the front .

SO BELOVED :Dual C&D winner at Haydock ,including winning listed race earlier this month at Haydock .Also won the G3 Supreme Stakes at Goodwood in August & finished close 4TH in Dubai Challenge Stakes at Newmarket in October ,finishing just behind Breton Rock .Goes particularly well on easy ground . Should be thereabouts .

VERDICT : Home Of The Brave will be popular ,after bolting up in listed race last time at Leicester on easy ground, and has good record over 7 furlongs .Has to be respected ,though this looks much stronger contest, and odds around 7-2 look short enough  .

ADAAY showed some useful form last season , including winning the group two Sandy Lane stakes on this card last year. Also escapes group two penalty for winning Hungerford stakes ,the return to this 7 furlong trip, on easy ground should be ideal .Odds around 7-1 look decent each-way value .

THE TIN MAN : Lightly raced 4-Y-0 gelding ,showed progressive form last season winning 3 out 6 ,including bolting up in class two 6F handicap at Ascot in September ,off mark 91 .Also finished excellent 4TH in G1 British Champions sprint on final start last season .Looks open to plenty improvement this season .

VERDICT : The Tin Man will have his supporters, after finishing excellent 4TH in G1 champions sprint at Ascot in October , though the James Fanshawe stable haven't been firing recently (1 out 19 this month) and has very poor record at Windsor 0 out 25 over last 5 seasons.Looks worth opposing, on seasonal reappearance, at around 9-4 mark  .

STRATH BURN can be forgiven for poor run in British Champions Sprint, on his final start in 2015,when he finished the race lame .Looks the one beat, on pick last seasons form ,including finishing close 2ND in group one Sprint cup .Will be suited dropping down in class, and won't mind any rain .Odds around 7-2 look solid value .

MAGICAL MEMORY : Progressive sort ,winning 5 out 14 ,including winning G3 Abernant stakes at Newmarket last month .Also showed some useful form last season ,including finishing 1L third in Sprint Cup at Haydock ,behind Twilight Son . Looks closely matched with that rival on 5LB better terms .

EL ASTRONAUTE : Progressive 2-Y-0 ,winning 3 out 8 last season ,including winning handicap over C&D in September .
