Wednesday 26th November Claiming Stakes Bet

For Wednesday's second bet we go to Lingfield for interesting little 7 furlong claimer at 1.30

1.30 LINGFIELD 7 FURLONG CLAIMING STAKES  :
10 runners declared for 7 furlong claimer at Lingfield .Not bad contest for this grade .The three main contenders look to be Stonefield Flyer ,My Son Max & Exceedexpectations .

STONEFIELD FLYER :Won twice this year at Kempton, both in class 4 handicaps .Returned to form last time winning 7 furlong handicap in good style off mark 77.Has to concede weight all round ,though drops into claiming company for first time.

MY SON MAX : Fair record on All Weather winning five times from 20 starts ,including winning 7 furlong seller at Wolverhampton last time .Not badly treated at the weights ,though this looks much stronger contest .

EXCEEDEXPECTATIONS :Decent record on poly track winning 8 from 37  ,including winning back to back handicaps over C&D at Lingfield in July ,been bit disappointing on his last two starts at Kempton in handicap company ,including finishing only fifth behind Stonefield Flyer last time ,though has good record at Lingfield and looks well treated at the weights .

VERDICT : Stonefield Flyer will be popular dropping into class 6 company for first time, after winning class 4 handicap at Kempton last time ,though doesn't face any easy task conceding weight all round .Has to be repected, though Odds around 7-4 don't make great appeal.

On 12LB better terms EXCEEDEXPECTATIONS can reverse form with Stonefield Flyer.Goes particularly well here at Lingfield ,Running well on his last four starts at the track over C&D in handicap company .Odds around 5-1 look fair each-way value .

Wednesday 26th November Wild Flower Listed Stakes

Two All Weather cards on Wednesday with feature race being Wild Flower listed Stakes at Kempton over 12 furlongs .

6.45 KEMPTON 12F WILD FLOWER LISTED STAKES
10 runners declared for good quality listed race over 12 furlongs on poly track .On official ratings we have three main contenders Grendisar ,Harris Tweed,Rawaki.Plus dark horse Kalaatah

GRENDISAR :Poly track specialist, with excellent record here at Kempton (12213212) winning three times over C&D .Won the floodlit listed stakes at Kempton earlier this month beating Fire Fighting by neck .Very consistent sort and looks sure go well at his favourite track .

HARRIS TWEED :Useful sort on turf ,winning 7 from 26 ,including winning three listed races and group three ,however hasn't looked as good this season, though did finish second in class 2 handicap at Leicester off mark 105 last time .Lightly raced on poly track ,though has never convinced in four starts,  finishing well  beaten third in this race in 2012 .

RAWAKI :Steady improvement this season in group and listed company ,including finishing third in G3 John Porter stakes at Newbury & finishing close second in Listed handicap at Musselburgh off mark 103 .Won 14 furlong conditions race at Salisbury in September  beating Aussie Reigns in good style .Ran well on both starts on poly track back 2011/12

KALAATAH :Unbeaten filly winning both starts on poly track ,including winning maiden over C&D on debut .Won 12 furlong handicap at Wolverhampton last time off mark 81 .Looks open to plenty improvement after 2 starts ,though takes big step up in class .

VERDICT :The lightly raced 3-Y-0 filly Kalaatah is not easy to assess ,receiving plenty of weight of her main rivals ,though has been put in very short here for horse that only won class 4 handicap .Will need to improve around 15LB too take this listed contest and makes little appeal at 15-8 .

Course specialist GRENDISAR looks the one to beat here ,after winning similar race last time over course and distance .Should come on for that run ,first run since April .Has excellent record here at Kempton and can concede weight all round .Odds around 9-2 look very decent each-way value .

Of the others Rawaki has each-way claims on the pick of his turf form this season in group company, though is not easiest horse to win with .

Saturday 22nd November Claiming Stakes Bet

Apologies for the lack of posts over the last two months, after having to deal with the sudden loss of my mother .My mind hasn't really been on racing as you can imagine and decided to take a complete break from the blog .

Dealing with a bereavement is never easy ,especially when it's cancer related ,the last few weeks have been difficult, with so much too sort out ,though you have too move on and try get back to normal .

Now seems good time to get back to the blog, with winter All Weather racing now under way hopefully we can have profitable few weeks before the turn of the year .

On Saturday we have two All Weather cards, at Lingfield & Wolverhampton .Going concentrate on the 1 mile claiming stakes on Wolverhampton's evening fixture .

8.45 WOLVERHAMPTON 8.5 FURLONG CLAIMING STAKES
9 runners go to post for claiming stakes over the extended mile on the tapeta .Not bad contest for this grade, the three main contenders .Naoise , Tee It Up Tommo & Toto Skyllatchy

NAOISE :Formerly trained in Ireland by Jim Bolger, winning three times .Changed hands for 9,000 guineas at Newmarket sales in July .Had looked disappointing on turf for Ollie Pears ,this summer ,though bounced back to form winning back to back handicaps over C/D at Wolverhampton on the tapeta.Has bit to find on official ratings ,though in top form and has good record on All Weather surfaces (2132152811)

TEE IT UP TOMMO : Been in good form this year winning five times on poly track, including winning class 5 handicap over C&D in March by 5 lenghs  .Bit disappointing  last time when only 5th in claimer over C&D on the new tapeta surface .Well treated at the weights ,though has to prove himself on this surface .

TOTO SKYLLATCHY :Returned to form in September winning 1 mile seller at Redcar & bolted up by 6 lenghs in 7 furlong handicap at Southwell earlier this month.Fair second last time at Southwell over 1 mile off mark 71,though was very disappointing over C&D in October on tapeta.Having first start for David O' Meara .

VERDICT : Tee It Up Tommo is best in at the weights ,and has good record on All Weather . 6 out 14 , though was well beaten favourite in similar race last time over C&D on tapeta .Odds around  3-1 make no appeal

Strictly at the weights NAOISE has bit to find, though has looked natural on the new tapeta surface winning both starts over C&D under promising 3lb claimer Jacob Butterfield.Should get the race run to suit ,with plenty pace in the race . Odds around 5-1 look fair each-way value .

Of the others Toto Skyllatchy has been in good form in handicap company on fibresand at Southwell and should be thereabouts , not badly treated at the weights, though has to prove he can handle this surface .
