Thursday 30th January Al Rashidiya group two bet

The racing on All Weather this week can only be described as dire with no suitable betting opportunities. However we do have decent looking card from Meydan on Thursday .Going concentrate on the feature race the group two Al Rashidiya over 9 furlongs .

5.00 MEYDAN 9 FURLONG AL RASHIDIYA GROUP TWO:
12 runners declared for group two Al Rashidiya over 9 furlongs .This looks competitive group two contest the three main contenders look to be Mushreq, Tasaday & Steeler .

MUSHREQ :Good record at Meydan winning 3 out 7 ,impressive winner of group two Al Fahidi over 10 furlongs last February beating Master Of Hounds by three lenghs .Also good winner on his first start this season winning listed race over C/D .Obvious claims with ideal conditions

TASADAY : Had some decent form in France last season for Andre Fabre ,winning two filly group races ,also finished close second in group one Prix de L 'Opera behind Dalkala .Has first start for S.Bin Suroor .

STEELER :Decent sort for Mark Johnstone in 2012 ,winning group two Royal Lodge and finishing decent third in group one Racing Post Trophy .Finished fair fourth on first start for 18 months behind Shuruq in group two contest.

VERDICT :  MUSHREQ looks solid here after winning decent looking listed race last time .That form has been boosted with second Gabrial winning good handicap next time off mark 106 .Has also won in group two company last season and looks the one beat .

Steeler looks main danger after making very promising reappearance on his first start for Charlie Appelby ,had some very decent form as two year old for Mark Johnstone and should be suited returning to turf .
