Disappointing day on Wednesday both bets running very poorly and 5 pt loss on the day

NO BETS ON THURSDAY

Wednesday's best bets

Three point loss on Tuesday after Sedgwick could only manage third in seller after being given poor ride in very slowly run race.

On too Wednesday we have five meetings the main meeting being at Ascot where we have good group three race and two listed contests and we have two bets.

AKMAL :Fast improving stayer last season winning seven times, won group three jockey club cup over 2 miles at Newmarket on his final start last season on fast ground.Slightly disappointing on his reappearance in the John Porter stakes at Newbury  though that was over 1 mile 4f and will be much better suited too this 2 miles.

OUR JONATHAN:Progressive 2-y-o last season winning four times, won the 5F Cornwallis stakes at Ascot G3 in October and then went on to win 6F group 2 at Maisons-Laffitte in November.Takes drop in class here into this listed contest

Tuesday best bets

Just over 3 point profit on Monday after LITTLE EDWARD won at 11-8 and PLUSH finished second 9-4.
Tuesday we just have the one bet at Lingfield in the seller.

SEDGWICK:Returned after long lay off in great form winning five times this year already.Drops back into selling company here and will take plenty of beating in this very weak selling stakes ,any prices of evens or better would be value in this weak race.Strictly on official handicap figures Timocracy is best in here but has been very disappointing on flat at the end of last season and over hurdles, well beaten in selling hurdle two weeks ago at Sedgefield when favourite.

SEDGWICK : 3.30 LINGFIELD

Monday best bets

Five meetings on Monday though most races are impossible to solve handicaps and we will concentrate on the AW card at Wolverhampton.

LITTLE EDWARD :C/D winner last march in class 3 handicap of mark 89 ,now takes big drop in class into class 6 claimer, hasn't ran for 331 days, though has always gone well fresh in past and should really outclass this field on official handicap figures has 11lb in hand.

PLUSH:Excellent record at Wolverhampton seven time C/D winner from 14 starts ,good record in claimers winning two of last three and fair performance last time in beating FULL TOSS in above average claimer. Fremen looks the main danger after winning 4 of last 5 races and strictly on figures is best in here though this claimer looks much tougher than the seller he won last time.

Saturdays best bets

Disappointing day on Friday both bets running very poorly ,WASEET pulled far too hard in very slowly run   race and Richard Hills could never get the horse settled and finished last of six and DIZZENESS had no excuses simply wasn't good enough .Loss of 5pts on the day.

On too Saturday and Six meetings with Sandown being main meeting the BET 365 Gold cup and BET365 mile being the feature races.Just going to stick with the one bet at Sandown.

PACO BOY :Class horse two time Group one winner, won this race last year under 6lb penalty has no penalty this year.Went on to win Queen Anne stakes at Royal Ascot GI,and finish second in Sussex Stakes G1 at Glorious Goodwood behind Rip van winkle, hasn't ran since last July though has always gone well fresh in past and should outclass this field. The main danger appears to be CONFRONT who did show improved form last season winning three times including G3 at Newmarket last OCT.

Fridays best bets

5.50 pt profit on Thursday with INGELBY ARCH winning at 7-4,though 2-1 & 9-4  freely available on betfair slightly disappointing PRIMA DE VIDA didn't win going down by short head in very close finish.

On to Friday we have six meetings though with four poor jump cards, which we can put line through straight away ,leaving us with Sandown & Wolvehampton  on the flat and we have two bets.

DIZZINESS :Promising  third last time  at Lingfield finishing well over 7f behind the well regarded Illustrious prince only beaten 1 Lengh, looks open to plenty improvement and should go well in this pretty average filly's maiden.

WASEET:Good second last time in Royal Lodge G2 at Ascot behind the A.O'BRIEN trained JOSHUA TREE a race that has worked out really well plenty winners coming out of race, only beaten 1.25 lenghs after not getting the clearest of runs, look sure to be suited by step up too 1 mile 2f .

Thursdays best bets

Very quiet week so far just the one bet. Thursday for some reason we only have one flat turf meeting at Beverley which looks very poor card ,so will concentrate on evening card on AW at Southwell where there are couple interesting races .

PRIMA DE VIDA :Has to be forgiven for poor run last time at Nottingham in handicap over 1 mile ,though that was his first run for over 5 months and didn't stay 1 mile.previously ran well over C/D finishing second behind Tres Amigos.Maiden races don't come much weaker than this .The in form R.BECKETT sends only one horse to Southwell .

INGELBY ARCH:Six time C/D winner at Southwell.Takes big drop in class into claiming company.winner of class 3 handicap of mark 88 back in October should outclass this field and appears only to have Clear Ice to beat who could be possible danger receiving 21lb.

Tuesday best bets

Mondays only bet COCOHATCHEE ended up being non runner,Tuesday see's the start of Punchestown festival though not meeting I tend to get too involved with and another five meetings in UK, not great deal to get excited about and Just the one bet in lowly seller at Wolverhampton.

TOUS LES DEUX: Consistent type and fair second last time in class 5 handicap at Kempton over 1 mile  behind Alqaahir , now takes drop in class into quite weak seller and should go well here. The main danger appears to be CORDELL who would be thrown in on last seasons form for Richard Hannon though has shown nothing on his last six starts and now wears blinkers for first time.

TOUS LES DEUX : 2.40 WOLVERHAMPTON

2 PTS E-WAY GUIDE PRICE 5-2

Monday best bets

Five meetings on Monday and very little to get excited about with three jump fixtures, and only the one race of interest at Windsor.

EBF SPORTINGBET.COM MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 5) 5 FURLONGS 2-Y-O 5.40 WINDSOR

COCOHATCHEE : Promising debut at Folkestone last week finishing second to R.Hannon newcomer Cape to Rio who looks smart 2-y-o ,showed plenty of speed there and finished 5 lenghs clear of third horse Saucy Buck who was odds on favourite.Well drawn in stall 8 should be able to bag the rail and make bold bid from the front.

Richard Hannon has been on fire with his 2-year olds, 6 out 7 this season runs two in the race and have to be respected though Bilko Pak was well beaten at Newmarket only finishing 5th of 6 and Sir Rocky a well bred newcomer looks certain to need further than 5 furlongs on breeding being out of Shirocco. At the prices COCOHATCHEE looks the value at around 7-2 mark.

Saturdays best bets

Going into Saturday and little in profit on the week after Gertrude Bell won nicely at 5-2 at Newbury.Again we have six meetings though most races we can totally cross out straight away, just leaving us with two strongish bets at Newbury and Thirsk.

MY TWO RECOMMENDED BETS :

NEWBURY 3.10 DUBAI DUTY FREE, FRED DARLING STAKES:G3

MISHEER :Smart two year old last season for C. Brittain running in all top filly races over 5 & 6f    winning the cherry hinton G2 at Newmarket in July and finishing second too Special duty in Cheveley park G1.beating three of Today's  rivals ,lady of desert, puff & habaayib. The step up to 7f should suit   and at 5-2 looks good value bet.Difficult to understand how Lady of desert is favourite here after being beaten twice last season by MISHEER.

THIRSK 4.45 MICHAEL FOSTER CONDITIONS STAKES

MARKAB: Improving sprinter last season winning the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon of mark of 100 and finishing close 5th behind Royal Rock at Ascot in G3 race .this looks easier should be hard to beat.

TWO RECOMMENDED BETS:

ADMISSION :Impressive winner on debut at Yarmouth over 1 mile on soft ground beating odds on favourite clockmaker easily, this looks tougher race and different ground conditions, though open to lots of improvement and looks sure to be suited by step up to 1 mile 2. at around 4-1 worth small bet.

GERTRUDE BELL:Solid form in  maidens placed three times ,twice finishing behind Oaks favourite TIMEPIECE,this looks lot easier and should be suited to step up in trip.at around 5-2 looks value bet.

Thursdays best bets

Very unlucky with the E-W double yesterday, Harvest Dancer was given very poor ride by Martin Dwyer given far too much to do and would won that race if closer to the pace.Newmarket looks fair card on Thursday with two group races and listed race.

ELUSIVE PIMPERNEL:Should outclass this field ,good second in racing post trophy behind ST NICHOLAS ABBEY G1 race.Good winner of acomb stakes at york over 7f G3 finishing very strongly will be well suited to mile and further this season, well fancied for 2000 guineas. 11-8 looks generous price.

EVENS AND ODDS:C/D winner last may in good handicap at Newmarket winning ,showed improved form later in season finishing second in stewards cup at Goodwood and forth in Ayr gold cup.well suited to fast ground, stable in form.

ZAYNAR: Good third in champion hurdle last time can reverse placings with Khyber kim over his optimum trip 2 mile 4.and will be well suited by this good ground.

Not bad racing for Wednesday with four flat cards and Nottingham card looking the highlight with listed and condition race.

NOBLE STORM: Very speedy sprinter winning three times last season and finishing second in listed race at Newmarket on his last start in October, goes well fresh and has won on soft ground.Has to concede 9lb to his rivals but is the class act in this grade

TASTAHIL: Useful performer  won listed race last season at Newbury beating All the aces, and second in group three ,will love this soft ground and goes very well fresh only slight negative is form of Barry Hills stable only 4 winners from 28 this year. The main danger looks to be Opinion Poll who improved with every run last season in handicaps and likes soft ground, but now stepped up in class and Michael Jarvis stable not in good form 0 from 5 in last 2 months.

Easter Monday and seven meetings ,all low on quality ,as I will be paying my first visit of the season to Yarmouth I will concentrate on this meeting though only small stakes.

CLOCKMAKER.Eye catching debut last April finishing second too Bridge of gold at Newbury in hot maiden on soft ground only beaten 1.75 lenghs ,that horse is rated 104 ,so should be well capable of taking this ordinary maiden.

DIANE'S CHOICE.C/D winner with good strike rate 9 wins ,proven on soft ground and in fair form winning handicap in Feb, looks well handicapped of mark of 56. Frankie Dettori looks interesting booking.

ASPRO MARVO.Good third in fair class 4 handicap at Doncaster 9 days ago behind Red Jade on soft ground, takes big drop in class into class 6 maiden auction.WIDEZAIN appears to be the only danger ran fair 6th of 18 in maiden at Newmarket last September over 1 mile.

Only Kempton of any interest on Saturday the other two jump cards look poor and will be run on desperate ground..

PIPETTE.Impressive winner of maiden at Salisbury last September, and then good third in listed race at Newbury in October both on soft ground over 7 furlongs ,step up to mile looks sure to suit, and still has entries in 1000 guineas and the oaks. takes drop in class here into conditions race any prices of 6-4 or bigger would be value bet.

CHANTILLY TIFFANY. interesting runner here formerly trained by Ed Dunlop winning twice in Germany in,group three and listed race and finished second in this race in 2008 behind the very useful HEAVEN SENT also won twice at Newmarket as 3-y-o,has now changed hands and was sold for 320,000 guineas and now runs for John Gosden for first time. The danger looks to be SHAMWARI  LODGE ,who had some useful form last season but looks no value at 7-4 for horse who has never won in listed company.

Good run this week continues with HAWRIDGE STAR Winning at 9-2 though there was 15p rule 4 still worked out around 7-2 and incredibly it traded as big as 100-1 in running on betfair .No racing on Friday and the racing over the Easter weekend looks very poor with Kempton being the only flat meeting on Saturday.
